Informational findings only

Everything we produce — free scans, paid audit reports, monitoring alerts — is informational. It is not legal advice, and it does not certify conformance with the European Accessibility Act, Directive (EU) 2019/882, EN 301 549, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, Irish implementing regulations or any other law or standard.

Automated testing has limits

Automated tools reliably detect only a portion of accessibility barriers — commonly estimated at around a third of WCAG issues. Judgement-based criteria such as the quality of alternative text, logical reading order, meaningful focus order and usability with assistive technology require human testing. A clean scan does not mean an accessible site.

Sampling and AI assistance

We test a representative sample of pages rather than every page, so issues may exist on pages we did not test. We use AI to explain findings and suggest fixes; AI output can be incomplete or wrong, and should be reviewed by your developers before being applied.

Your responsibility

You remain responsible for your own legal compliance. For advice on your obligations, consult a qualified legal professional. For assurance beyond automated testing, commission a manual audit including testing with people with disabilities.
