Why we built this

Roughly one in four adults in the EU lives with a disability. Most websites still put avoidable barriers in their way: images with no description, forms that cannot be completed with a keyboard, checkouts that fall apart at 200% zoom.

The European Accessibility Act turned that from a good intention into an expectation. But the two options most businesses were offered were an overlay widget that does not fix the underlying problems, or a multi-thousand-euro consultancy engagement.

Accessibility Radar sits in between. We are based in Ireland and work with businesses across the EU. Automated scanning finds what machines can reliably find, an AI layer explains it in plain language with fixes, and we are honest about what still needs a human eye.

We hold ourselves to the same standard we test for: this site is built to WCAG 2.2 AA and tested with a keyboard and a screen reader.
